Hey there- I’m Amanda!
Born and raised in Wisconsin - a Midwest girl at heart. Growing up in that sweet spot of the 1980s to the 1990s.
I am an avid reader and have been since I was little, going to the local library and stocking up on books. I still love to read, particularly WWII historical fiction. I also love a good thriller and a feel-good story that touches me deep in my bones. Curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee is my favorite thing to do.
My husband and I have three amazing boys. I am a boy mom to the core. They always keep me on my toes.
I love spending time with my family, going on adventures with my boys. I also enjoy catching up with friends over a good cup of coffee and rehashing the latest reality TV.
When it comes to what I do, people always ask how I came to write - did I go to school for it? I did not. Long story short, I thought I was going to be a lawyer. I have a BA in Political Science and thought I would get my law degree from there, but that doesn’t happen if you don’t get into law school.
I may not have gotten into law school, but I did end up working in the legal field for 13 years as a legal secretary. When that journey ended, I came to a fork in the road.
With that fork in the road and while working on myself, I rediscovered my passion for writing. I decided to nurture this and see what was possible. Thus, my business was born.
I love to write, I love the challenge of finding the right words to convey something, and I love storytelling.
I'm motivated to help people share their stories. The story of their business: what they do, how they do it, and why they do it.
There’s always a story, and it’s more than just words on a page. It’s about how those words land on the page, how they weave together a story. It’s about how people connect to you and your business.
Whether through a website, blogs, or social media, I’m motivated to help businesses create compelling, engaging content. I’m here to use my gift of writing to serve businesses, so they can focus on doing what they love. It’s a win-win.
What’s your story?
